This critter was drawn for the purpose of another brief that was solely concentrated on character design. This was suppose to show what we (the class) knew of illustrative software, eg. Illustrator, Photoshop. We were told to create a tall, lean character. This guy started life via pencil an' paper then scanned into Illustrator to get the smooth line effect rather than going my usual way of using the brush tool in Photoshop and drawing over it by hand. I'll be honest and say this was an easier method than I had thought at first, which I had struggled with to begin. But its so much more effective and hell of a lot neater than my previous method.
I've just got to try and get a copy of Illustrator for my laptop now
